The Dulce Nombre De Maria Cathedral-Basilica has issued the following protocols and guidelines for this weekend’s parking lot Mass.
For the safety of all, please adhere to the following:
• Always follow directions given by the CB staff.
• Park in designated parking areas.
• Remain in your vehicles before, during and after Mass. Drivers and passengers will
not be permitted to exit their vehicles so as not to disrupt the flow of traffic.
• Holy Communion will be distributed after Mass. Follow the flow of traffic to receive
Holy Communion. Please be courteous and drive with caution.
• Please extend your open palm with care from your vehicles to receive Holy
Communion so as not to drop the Precious Body of Christ. Extraordinary ministers
will not reach into vehicles and will sanitize their hands after each vehicle.
• During the extended public health emergency, the reception of Holy Communion will
only be in the hand. Please remove gloves.
