Celebrities galore at Liberation celebration led by Pia Mia

Among the brightest stars gracing this year's liberation celebration are Pia Mia, a successful recording artist and songwriter, and David M. Cruz III who is the newest matchmaker on BRAVO TV's The Millionaire Matchmaker.

This year’s 75th Liberation celebration has got to be the biggest celebration to date with many celebrities in attendance led by Pia Mia!

In line with the theme of “Celebrating Peace and Friendship,” thousands of volunteers, committee members, and organizations will be putting together a day the island won’t forget.

At a press conference Friday, Lieutenant Governor Josh Tenorio announced the list of celebrity guests for this year’s Liberation celebration.

First and foremost is Pia Mia, a successful recording artist and songwriter. Next to her is David M. Cruz III who is the newest matchmaker on BRAVO TV’s The Millionaire Matchmaker.

Also gracing the celebration is Rose Laguana, a famous guitarist and songwriter, as well as Filipina actress Valerie Concepcion who is currently engaged to a local court marshal.

Other celebrities who were not present at the press conference are Phillippine actors and models also born on Guam — Benjamin Alves and Chelsea Robato.

In addition, there are Philippine actors Adrian Alandy and Marco Alcararez accompanied by his wife, Precious lara Quigaman, former 2015 Miss International, as well as Makana, Hawaiin guitarist singer-composer and activist who will also be attending the event.

Pia Mia will be hosting a free concert on Saturday, July 20, 2019, at the Liberation Carnival Grounds in Hagåtña. She will be performing her hit songs at 8 p.m, as well as a special surprise number that she doesn’t want to reveal just yet.

Pia Mia has a special message to her fans here on Guam: “I just want to say that I love you guys so much! I’m so proud to be from Guam and I can’t wait to see you guys at the parade and the show!”
