The teams will be comprised of several Guam Senators, Governor Calvo and other local dignitaries that will go head to head with over 15 Congressional Representatives from the Philippines.  The match is tomorrow, March 26, 2011, 6:00p.m. at Okkodo High School.

Speaker Won Pat said, “This basketball tournament is a great opportunity to share camaraderie, foster good-will and friendship while engaging in friendly competition with our distingiushed guest, the Philippine Congressional Delegates.  We are all neighbors in the region and as such, it’s important to assist in any way we can to help the Japanese people in the recovery efforts from the devastating tragedies their country is experiencing.

I encourage our community to attend as all the proceeds from the event, by donation, will be presented to the Japan relief and recovery efforts.” Won Pat stated.
