Chan-Hom Weakening Even More and Latest Track Has It Passing Far North of Rota

Max Sustained Winds at 50mph & Now on Track to Pass South of Tinian & Saipan on Sunday

Guam – Tropical Storm Chan-Hom is continuing to decrease in intensity.

 

 

 It’s maximum sustained winds are at 50mph and it is heading Northeast at 8mph. The latest forecast track has it passing far North of Guam and Rota and just South of Tinian & Saipan. However a typhoon watch remains in effect for Guam Rota Tinian & Saipan. Guam is still in COR3. Chan-Hom is expected to turn Northwest on Saturday and pass through the Marianas Sunday Afternoon. Chan-Hom could still become a Typhoon by Sunday when it Passes through the Marianas.
