Guam - The National Weather Service expects increased chance of thunderstorms until Wednesday.

Originally, weather forecast on Guam was expected to be isolated showers with a slight chance of thunderstorms, but in its Mariana Island Forecast, NWS writes to expect mostly cloudy skies with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms to persist on Guam for the next three days in the afternoon hours.


Regarding this change, the Weather Service comments, "The forecast maintains similar conditions Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon. Did increase showers to scattered in the afternoon forecasts for Guam through Wednesday... Forecast will keep with persistence and maintain the lighter winds," in its Area Forecast Discussion released this afternoon.
