Chief Brodie, JFK release students early due to deteriorating air quality

Students at Chief Brodie Memorial School (CBMES) and John F. Kennedy High School (JFKHS) are being released early, Tuesday, May 12, 2021, due to smoke from a structure fire that is creating deteriorating air quality at the schools.

Busses are en route to the school campuses. Parents and guardians are kindly encouraged to pick up their children immediately.

Packed lunches will be provided and distributed to students at Chief Brodie Memorial Elementary School and John F. Kennedy High School.

Classes will resume at CBMES and JFKHS on Thursday, May 13, 2021, and any future changes will be announced.
