Guam -GPD Chief Fred Bordallo says GPD is working with personnel at Ordot-Chalan Pago Elementary after an incident involving a staffer and disgruntled person forced the school into lockdown Monday.

Chief Bordallo says the incident was reported by a school safety officer who learned police were investigating a threat made by a man with a history of family violence who was linked to one of the school’s staffers.

The threat closed the school Monday and the school remains closed today.

Superintendent Jon Fernandez says personnel acted appropriately to the threat.
