Tomorrow afternoon that’s when we’ll start feeling some heavy winds, That’s from Chip Guard,  Warning Coordination Meteorologist from the National Weather Service.

Tropical Storm Bavi is moving at 23 miles an hour… with maximum sustained winds of 50 miles an hour… According to the 5 pm update from NWS Bavi is located at about 500 miles east of Guam. And according to Chip, we can expect the onset of strong winds as early as tomorrow afternoon. We remain in Typhoon watch for Guam, Saipan, Rota and Tinian. Guam remains in Condition of Readiness 3.  Residents are still advised to prepare for Condition 2 which is anticipated tomorrow.
