Guam- Citibank is launching two new services in celebration of 40 years of service in Guam.
At a press conference at the Hyatt Regency, Citibank officials revealed Citigold and Global Transaction Services will be part of their re branding initiative. Citi Asia Pacific Co-CEO Jonathan Larsen says they are pleased to say Citibank has come out of the financial crisis stronger. In fact, the first 3 quarters of 2010 delivered a net income of $9.3 billion dollars worldwide. What this means for Guam is more services and expansion plans to accommodate the expected growth of the military buildup.
“Two of the offerings that you’ve heard, which are being launched today, really are examples of us taking things we do all over the world…our Global Transaction Services…we’re the largest provider of cash management and other transaction services to the world’s largest companies and bringing that to the Guam market” said Larsen.
A ribbon cutting ceremony and cocktail reception for the launch of Citigold and Citibank Guam’s re branding is from 6- 9 pm tonight at its East Agana location.
