From getting groceries, paying bills, to making a trip to the bank, COVID-19 has affected many facets of life on Guam.
But as restrictions gradually lift due to the consistently low number of positive cases, one business decided to reopen their doors today … but with certain precautions.
Today, all Coast360 locations reopened their lobbies for teller services and scheduled appointments.
CEO Gener Deliquina says that previously, only the drive-thru service at their Maite location was operational and would serve 300 to 400 customers daily. Now, with the reopening of their locations, the federal credit union can assist members more efficiently.
“Pretty much all of our services have resumed. We do have our social distancing measures implemented here to keep everyone safe. Behind me, you’ll see acrylic shields in the service area. These are also available in the teller area. There are social distancing markers on the floor, so members are guided to distance from each other. Our queue outside the building is marked for social distancing,” Deliquina said.
Deliquina says that all locations are sanitized frequently throughout the day.
Member center hours will be Monday to Friday from 9 am to 2 pm. All locations will be closed on Saturdays at this time.
In addition, all Coast360 ATMs are operable except those in closed businesses. They will be activated once those businesses reopen.
