 The Guam Department of Education (GDOE) has announced the closure of all Community Learning Centers (CLCs) from Monday, August 2, 2021, until Friday, August 6, 2021, as GDOE prepares for School Year (SY) 2021 – 2022.  The GDOE CLCs will resume hours of operation on Monday, August 9, 2021.  The CLCs are open to all school-aged students on island from grades Pre-K through 12.

As part of the GDOE’s goal to broaden the access to technology for all students, several GDOE schools have been designated as Community Learning Centers.  These CLCs will provide students afterschool accommodations to support distance learning by offering students access to site facilities and equipment, homework assistance, as well as training and access to the internet for educational purposes.

Below is the August schedule of Parent/Guardian/Student training sessions hosted by the CLC site managers.  We highly encourage all interested persons to avail themselves of the free training.

Come use the computers, log into the Wi-Fi, get assistance for homework, and learn how to utilize online tools, and participate in other activities facilitated by the CLC teams. Participation is easy: Show Up. Sign up. And keep coming!
