Complaint: Man assaults victim with slingshot

A 30-year-old man gets arrested and faces charges after assaulting a man with a slingshot in Tamuning, according to a magistrate’s complaint filed in the Superior Court of Guam.

Guam Police Department officers were dispatched to Santa Fe hotel in Tamuning on April 11, where they spoke with the victim.

Anthony Inek allegedly assaulted a man by slingshotting him with a metal object in the stomach and punching him in the face.

He was arrested and charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance and aggravated assault.

The victim had injuries on his abdomen as well as bruising and scratch marks on his eyes.

Court documents state when he was arrested, Inek had two glass pipes on him that tested positive for residue of methamphetamine.
