A woman faces felony charges after allegedly assaulting a victim with a kitchen knife, according to a magistrate’s complaint filed in the Superior Court of Guam.

Bethsina Joseph, 39, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and family violence after allegedly assaulting a woman.

On April 3, Guam Police Department officers responded to a disturbance complaint at a residence in Santa Rita-Sumai when a witness reported that there were two women fighting inside her residence.

According to court documents, Joseph got in an argument with the victim, scratched and then bit her in the right arm.
