Guam – The condition of a 41 year old woman whose car struck a concrete power pole late Monday afternoon has improved from critical last night to serious today [Tuesday].
GMH Spokesman Connor Murphy says the woman remains in the intensive-care unit.
She was travelling northbound on Route # 1 in Dededo during rush hour Monday when her white 2-door sedan struck the power pole just past Prestige Auto.
Guam Fire Spokesman Joey San Nicolas told PNC News that the emergency call came in about 5:40 pm.
The woman was the only occupant of the vehicle. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
