Bordallo Meets with New Joint Region Marianas Commander RADM Tilghman Payne
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – July 11, 2012 – Washington, D.C. –
Congresswoman Madeleine Z. Bordallo today met with Rear Admiral Tilghman D. Payne, USN, who will replace Rear Admiral Paul J. Bushong as Commander for Joint Region Marianas and Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Marianas. RADM Payne currently serves as Commander for Navy Region Midwest.
“I appreciated the opportunity to meet with Rear Admiral Tilghman Payne, who will serve as the new Navy Commander on Guam,” said Congresswoman Bordallo. “Admiral Payne’s many years of experience in the Navy as well as his experience in Navy Region Midwest will serve him well on Guam.
