Guam – Congresswoman Madeleine Bordallo recently visited Corpsman Stephen “Ted” Librando at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland.

Librando is recovering from injuries sustained while on tour in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.
“During my visit, I witnessed General Joseph F. Dunford Jr., Assistant Commandant of the Marine Corps, award the Purple Heart to Corpsman Stephen ‘Ted’ Librando. I commend the bravery and service of Corpsman Librando. As a Corpsman he carried out his duty of providing care for soldiers wounded during combat honorably. I join our community in praying for his full recovery and thank him for his service to our nation.”
