Controversial Chamorro Land Trust Commission administrative director Jack Hattig III has tendered his resignation.

Krystal Paco-San Agustin, the governor’s communications director, confirmed to PNC that Hattig submitted his resignation to Gov. Lou Leon Guerrero and the governor has accepted it.

Earlier, the governor met with the Chamorro Land Trust Commission to decide on whether Hattig would remain as administrative director of the CLTC.

The CLTC called for the meeting with the governor after deciding that Hattig “was not suited” as administrative director of the CLTC.

Hattig’s resignation is effective May 7. He will be moving over to the governor’s office in Adelup to work as a staff assistant to the governor.

There is still no word on who his replacement will be.
