Cop accused of sexually abusing minor returns to work

The internal affairs investigation into Norbert Muna continues at GPD.

Guam – The police officer who allegedly sexually assaulted an 11-year-old girl is returning to work today but an internal affairs investigation into him continues.

Guam Police Department Spokesman Officer AJ Balajadia confirms that veteran police officer Norbert Muna has returned to work today and was assigned administrative duties.

Muna was arrested last month on charges of first degree criminal sexual conduct. He was alleged to have  sexually assaulted a minor known to him on several occasions.

Following his arrest, Muna was placed on 20 days administrative leave as an internal affairs investigation was launched.

Balajadia says his admin leave has expired and therefore he has returned to work.
