In an interview on NewsTalk K57 with Patti Arroyo earlier today, Governor Lou Leon Guerrero says that the Medical Campus is still set to be built at Eagles Field.

The Governor reports that she recently met with the National Defense Agency to clarify the land issue on what can be built there.

PNC Previously reported that Eagles Field is now being looked at by the MDA as a potential missile defense site in order to defend both Guam and this portion of the region.

However, according to the Governor, they are currently working on lease negotiations for the property.

Moreover, the Governor says that both the new medical campus and the missile defense system could coexist at Eagles Field.
