Crime Stoppers Crime of the Week w/ Officer Paul Tapao

On Thursday the 23rd of July, at 4:20 in the morning.  Officers from the Tumon/Tamuning Precinct Command responded to the parking lot of K Mart Harmon, relative to a robbery complaint.

Guam- On Thursday the 23rd of July, at 4:20 in the morning.  Officers from the Tumon/Tamuning Precinct Command responded to the parking lot of K Mart Harmon, relative to a robbery complaint.

Now according to the police report:
At about 4:10 in the morning, the victim had just purchased some items at K Mart and was about to enter her vehicle, when an unknown male approached her from behind and placed his arms around the victim.  The unknown male the grabbed the victim’s purse which was clutched under her left arm and fled towards the Mobil Gas Station and Triple J Auto.  The victim then gave chase and noted the suspect had ran across the street towards JFK Hill and was seen by the victim fleeing into the jungle area behind Meskla Dos.

The victim described the suspect to be:
Male African/American with dark complexion standing about 6’2″ and weighing around 200 lbs. The suspect was last seen wearing a white tank top with blue shorts and a beanie on his head.  The victim also indicated that the suspect had a tattoo on his right bicep.

As a result of the robbery, the victim was unharmed and refused any medical treatment.
