Guam – Gubenatorial Candidates Lt. Governor Mike Cruz and Senator Jim Espaldon spoke to the rotary club of Tumon Monday about the military buildup.

Cruz says the bottom-line is the different sectors of the island of Guam must come together to make the right decisions for Guam’s future.

“In the next four years the leadership of Guam and the people of Guam are going to be making choices and decisions that are gonna build the foundation of the home that we are gonna live in tomorrow and the homes that our children are gonna inherit so this is a time for us to come together and to break down these walls that have divided us this shouldn’t be about public sector employees versus private sector employees this should be when the rich and the poor the old and the young the Republicans and the Democrats and everybody else in between come together and build a home that we’re all gonna want to live in.”

Cruz also told Rotary club members that if elected they would not have to worry about his administration putting his family first.

Cruz and Espaldon will be running against senator’s Eddie Calvo and Ray Tenorio in the Republican primary.
