In honor of its 30th anniversary, a local company has made a generous donation to the island’s public school system.
Headed by two John F. Kennedy High School graduates, CTSI Logistics gifted the Guam Department of Education with 10,000 multipurpose bags worth a total of $250,000 during a presentation held earlier today.
According to Jerry Tan, the company’s CEO, he is proud to have made the contribution.
“We’re really happy with engaging our foundation with the students, actually. Especially in public school. This is something we are proud of working on this time and hopefully we’ll continue the partnership,” Tan said.
GDOE will determine how to distribute these bags throughout its school system at a later date.
