Customs Arrests 2 Koreans on Meth Charges; 426 Grams of “Ice” Seized

Guam – Guam Customs Lt. Ferdinand Soriano reports that Customs Officers arrested 2 Koreans last Thursday on ice charges.

 

In a release, Lt. Soriano reports that the 2 Koreans flew into Guam from the Philippines. Amongst their luggage was a golf  bag. Lt. Soriano says that inside the false bottom of that golf bag Customs officers found 426 grams of  crystal methamphetamine, the drug commonly known as “ice.”

The estimated street value of that much “ice” is $350-thousand dollars.

The 2 koreans have been identified as Sing O. Kwon and Jae Chul Shin. Both have been booked and confined.

The case remains under investigation.
