Murder suspect Troy Ryan Damian was released from confinement Thursday on a $50,000 bail bond.

He will be under house arrest with electronic monitoring until his court appearance.

Damian will be under the custodianship of Teresita Damian-Cruz, Kirk J. Cruz, and Felix L.G. Damian.

Damian, along with Nicholas Wayne Moore, is one of the suspects in the Michael Castro murder.

His release came one day after Castro’s remains were discovered in a Yigo jungle area on Wednesday.

There’s speculation that Damian may have led police to the location of Castro’s body in return for a plea deal.

However, during Wednesday’s news conference, GPD Chief Stephen Ignacio did not confirm or comment on the rumor.

While under house arrest, Damian has been ordered to have no contact with his co-defendant.

Damian is scheduled to appear in court on November 19 of this year.

He had pleaded not guilty to the Castro murder charge.
