Guam – The December employment report from the Guam Department of Labor shows an increase in the number of jobs on island of 2.2%. That is an increase of 1,350 jobs.
However the report says that the rate of growth has slowed.
And the report credits the job growth to the increase in visitor arrivals, not buildup related work. That’s because the bulk of the new jobs, 1,120, are service sector jobs.
