The Dededo swimming pool was just recently reopened after Public Health shut it down last month.

This time, it’s the Dededo Pool that will be closed to the public.

According to the Department of Parks and Recreation, the Dededo Pool will be closed due to an “accidental fecal release.”

“For the safety of pool patrons, the Dededo Pool will be closed for proper disinfection and sanitation,” DPR stated in a release.

Dededo Pool will resume regular pool hours on Tuesday, Oct. 29.

Earlier, DPR also announced that the Agaña Pool will be closed to the public again due to what it also calls an “accidental fecal release.”

For the safety of pool patrons, the Agaña Pool will be closed for proper disinfection and sanitation, DPR stated.

According to Parks & Rec Director Richard Ybanez, the pool will reopen on Sunday, Oct. 27, from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

As a reminder to the public, Ybanez said repairs to the Agaña Pool’s filtration system also remain ongoing.

Following the reopening of the pool this Sunday, Oct. 27, limited operating hours will continue Tuesday through Sunday from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
