A service employee from the Dededo Shell Station has tested positive for COVID-19.
Shell Dededo said it immediately closed for deep cleaning and decontamination when they were alerted. The site has reopened, after a thorough sanitization has been completed. IP&E is working closely with government authorities. The affected employee and any other personnel that may have been exposed will be under home quarantine until they are confirmed negative.
According to the company’s release, all Shell Stations have implemented thorough cleaning and disinfecting procedures to help stop the spread of COVID-19 since the beginning of this pandemic. Social distancing and wearing masks are required at all Shell Stations and Stores.
