Democratic Party of Guam joins national Democrats in virtual convention


This week, the Democratic National Convention is being held virtually from August 18-21, 2020.

A pre-convention event was kicked off by the Democrats who lead the Asian American Pacific Islanders (AAPI) Organization in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Milwaukee was the site for the Democratic National Convention that was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Democrats and interested persons may sign up to view the convention proceedings on the 2020 Democratic National Convention website. Speakers for the week include Presidential nominee Joe Biden and his wife Jill, former Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton, Senator Bernie Sanders, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo and others.

Stay tuned for the state and territory delegates announcing their support for the presidential nominees during the Convention’s Roll Call Across America on Wednesday, August 19, 2020, 11 AM (Guam Time).
