Democrats Likely to Retain Control of Legislature

Guam – While the Gubernatorial race has garnered the most attention in this election there are still 15 seats in the legislature up for grabs.

The question is who will gain control of the legislature. UOG Professor Ron Mcninch is conducting an exit poll today and he says that because the democrats have more incumbents running for office they will likely retain control of the legislature. “Yeah I think the Democrats because they have 8 incumbents running the Republicans only have three incumbents running they’re gonna retain the majority could be that we are gonna have a super majority they’re gonna have over ten because of the way the things are looking right now,” said Mcninch. The UOG Professor adds that there is still room for some surprising new faces to join the ranks of the legislature.
