Guam – Unofficial results show that the Democrats have retained control of the Guam Legislature winning 9 of the 15 seats, 8 of them incumbents.
The incumbent Democrats winning re-election are Senators Tom Ada, Judi Won Pat, Tina Muna Barnes, Ben Pangelinan, Rory Respicio, Adolpho Palacios, Judi Guthertz, and B.J. Cruz. And the one new Democrat joining their ranks is Dennis Rodriquez Jr.
6 Republicans have been elected to the 31st Guam Legislature. They are incumbent Senators Tony Ada and Frank Blas Jr. Incumbent Senator Telo Taitague finished out of the the running in 17th place.
4 republican new comers will be joining the legislature and they are Aline Yamashita who placed 5th in the vote count, Mana Silva Taijeron who finished 12, Chris Duenas at 14th and Shirley Mabini just making the cut at 15th.
