
Detectives from the Guam Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division have arrested 27-year-old Vincent Peter Perez relative to a robbery complaint.
On Sept. 23, officers assigned to the Hagatna Precinct Command investigated a robbery complaint that occurred in Barrigada.
According to Sgt. Paul Tapao, GPD spokesman, the case had been forwarded to GPD’s Criminal Investigation Division for follow up.
Through the course of the investigation, Tapao said the victim was able to identify Vincent Perez as the person responsible for the robbery through a photo line-up. An All Points Bulletin was issued by detectives to locate Vincent Perez.
On Oct, 3, Vincent Perez was located by police during a traffic stop. He was later transported to GPD Headquarters in Tiyan for questioning.
Vincent Perez was later arrested for the following offenses: robbery; terrorizing; theft of property and outstanding bench warrant. He was booked and confined.
The case has been forwarded to the Office of the Attorney General for prosecution.
