Detention Guard and Civilian Police Reserve Officer Arrested for Stealing Tires

Guam – A Guam Police Detention Guard and Civilian Police Reserve Officer has been arrested in connection with the theft of tires from the “Auto Spot” in Anigua.

Anthony P. Quichocho was arrested Tuesday afternoon for Theft of Property and Official Misconduct.

According to a release from GPD Spokesman Officer A.J. Balajadia,  the surveillance cameras at the “Auto Spot” caught Quichocho on camera “taking tires and other miscellaneous items last night” [Monday].

Officer Balajadia reports that Quichocho was booked and released and an internal affairs investigation has been launched into the incident.

In the meantime, Quichocho has been placed on 20 days administrative leave.

HAGATNA – A theft of property complaint was filed by a tire shop in Anigua.  The suspect;

ANTHONY P QUICHOCHO, GPD Detention Guard / Civilian Police Reserve, was arrested this afternoon for Theft of Property and Official Misconduct.
The business surveillance cameras capture Mr. Quichocho taking tires and other miscellaneous items last night.

He was booked and released.  An Internal Affairs investigation will be launched based on the arrest of Mr. Quichocho.
