The Governor’s office late Monday afternoon advised that dine-in restaurant service may resume by next Monday, May 25, if the guidelines currently being draft are approved.

In a statement to the media, the Governor advised that she “expects to receive draft public health guidance for her consideration” on Thursday, May 21.

That guidance will be reviewed and if approved, “the goal is to permit the opening of restaurants for dine-in services by Monday, May 25.”

The statement cautions that “restrictions will be relaxed based on available case data and other factors” and “the date is “fluid and may be revised.”
