Japan Disaster Relief Fund Boot Drive FRIDAY at ITC Intersection

Guam – The Guam Office of  Homeland Security and Civil Defense has announced that a Boot Drive in support of the ongoing disaster relief efforts in Japan will take place tomorow, Friday, March 18th, from 4 to 6 pm at the intersections of Chief Quipuha Park in Hagatna and the ITC Building in Tamuning.

First Lady Christine Calvo in partnership with the Government of Guam agencies will raise the much needed funds for those devastated by the recent earthquakes and tsunami in Japan.

All residents are asked to support our brothers and sisters in Japan in their time of need.

“Our hearts go out to the victims and survivors in Japan,” stated Mike Carey, Guam Homeland Security Advisor.  “This is just the beginning of our relief efforts and we hope that this drive will raise the money necessary to ensure Japan get the resources they need to rebuild and recover.”
