Documents needed in Brian Cruz restitution case

Guam – There are a few documents that need to be submitted to the court before restitution is worked out in the death of body boarder Brian Cruz.

Jaycee White will have to pay restitution to the family of Brian Cruz, however how much is dependent on whether or not the family is obligated to pay Cruz’s medical bills.

According to Superior Court Judge Michael Bordallo, if the family is not obligated then any money owed to GMH is not a restitution matter as the government is not entitled to restitution.

Besides the medical bills the court will also determine the amount of restitution owed for funeral expenses.

A status hearing is set for next month.

In the meantime the court will issue a decision on the other restitution amounts.
