Guam – The Department of Education made it’s payroll today and they paid out gross payroll as opposed to the net payroll they have recently been issuing.
Governor Camacho’s deputy chief of staff Shawn Gumatatao told PNC news that payroll was released to DOE as early as yesterday. He also said that all line agencies were set to release their payroll adding that revenue collections for Nov. are 9% above the revenue projection forecast. He also adds that there is positive Cashflow into GovGuam’s coffers much of it due to the fact that income tax refunds have been circulating throughout the economy. Gumataotao says they are even preliminarily tracking December’s collections to be 30% higher than what was projected.
