Superintendent Jon Fernandez has tasked all forty public schools and support divisions from the central office to prepare a budget meeting the financial needs of their school sites.

With their budgets, the Superintendent expects school administrations and division heads to prioritize resources for the classrooms.
“I want our school system to meet the basic needs of educating our students,” Fernandez is quoted in a news release. “This budget cycle should be reflective of our promise to place students first.”
