Guam – The race for Attorney General now has three candidates as Attorney Doug Moylan has announced his intention to run for the AG Office.
Moylan has vast experience in law and has served as the territory’s first elected attorney general in 2003.
He now joins Attorneys Leevin Camacho and Gary Gumataotao in the bid for the AG seat.
In a statement, Moylan highlighted his accomplishments as the former attorney general with the creation of a government corruption division, increasing child support collections, increasing the number of prosecutors and winning a borrowing case in the U.S. Supreme Court.
If elected, Moylan says he will focus on deporting illegal immigrants, especially ones who commit sex crimes and violence against women and children and prosecuting sexual harassment in the work place.
“Truth and justice equally applied to everyone and preventing officials from abusing their authority will return to the AG’s office if elected,” he said.
