DPHSS: 2 disqualified from SNAP; 1 from TANF

The Department of Public Health has disqualified 2 people from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and 1 person from the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program.

The 2 individuals disqualified from the SNAP program “failed to disclose” a change of address.

The TANF client was disqualified “for crediting food/nonfood items or exchanging cash with their SNAP EBT card, which is considered trafficking.”

Because all 3 are first time violators, they have been disqualified for 12 months.
