Guam – May is Senior Citizens Month and the Department of Public Health and Social Services’ Division of Senior Citizens (DPHSS, DSC) and its community partners are coordinating events in honor of our island’s manamko.
As these events are held off-site, the DSC would like to inform all aging program consumers, their families and caregivers, program service providers and vendor, Medicare beneficiaries with inquiries, and other interested parties, that their office located at the Castle Mall Building in Mangilao will be closed as follows in order to coordinate, host and implement the activities scheduled in celebration of Senior Citizens Month:
-Closed from 8am to 3pm on Friday, April 26, to coordinate the Proclamation Signing event at the Inarajan Senior Citizens Center
-Closed from 8am to 3pm on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 to coordinate the Centenarian Recognition Celebration at St. Dominic’s Senior Care Home
-Closed from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, May 10, 2013 to coordinate the SHIP/SMP Volunteer Recognition at the Guam Marriott Resort and Spa
-Closed from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 21 and 22, 2013, to coordinate the Guam Conference on Aging and Health Fair at the Guam Marriott Resort and Spa.
We thank you for your support as we pay tribute to our island’s Manamko and the volunteers that help Medicare consumers.
Make this month a memorable one for our seniors and greet them with a Biba Manamko!
