Guam – The DEPT. OF PUBLIC HEALTH & SOCIAL SERVICES (DPHSS) EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES FOR CHILDREN (EMSC) PROGRAM donated two (2) BROSELOW HINKLE PEDIATRIC ADVANCE LIFE SUPPORT EMERGENCY KITS to the GMH Emergency Dept. and Pediatrics Unit.

The kits are needed for medical emergencies with children and will assist hospital staff to properly assess a child’s drug doses, equipment and fluid needs in a medical emergency.  During non-emergent situations, the kits can also serve as a reference for accurate and consistent drug dosing, equipment selection, as well as many other age or size related variables such as pulmonary functions, fluid therapy, injury prevention, CPR and choking information.
