The Guam Legislature, on Wednesday, held a budget hearing for the Department of Parks and Recreation.
DPR director Roque Alcantara said that the budget that they have provided should be enough to maintain their current operations.
Alcantara says that the only problem that they see with their current operations is the lack of manpower.
This lack of manpower is making it difficult for DPR to keep up total maintenance and surveillance of the parks, Alcantara said.
