Guam – The Department of Public Works advises all motorists that road shoulder paving will commence along Route 4 from Dero Road in Ordot down to Chaot Bridge.
Beginning Friday, crews will be working on sections of the northbound roadway shoulders (towards Sinajana). The work is expected to continue until completion, weather permitting. Next week, the crews will work on the southbound sections of the roadway (towards Yona) for an additional three days.
The work is expected to have minimal impact on traffic flow with some lane restrictions. Traffic controls will be in place for the morning and afternoon rush hours. Drivers should plan for reduced speeds and are asked to use caution when approaching the work sites.
The Department of Public Works thanks the public for their continued patience as they work to improve our roads for the safety and well being of our people.
