The Guam Department of Revenue and Taxation (DRT) has announced that all Business Privilege Tax Returns are required to be filed electronically, beginning with tax filing
for the month of February 2021.
Information below is provided to all current electronic filers and also for those who
must register to become an electronic filer.
Current Electronic Filers:
– All must re-register with GuamTax.com. DRT recently enhanced the log-in process that will require all current users to re-register beginning March 1, 2021.
- Information can be found at https://www.guamtax.com/help/index.html.
- Registration requirements will be changing on March 1, 2021.
- To pay online, more information can be found at https://pay.guam.gov/pg/FAQs.aspx. Any additional fees
are stated and in addition to the total.
As an option to all E-Filers who decide on making their tax payments in person (not electronically):
o Please proceed to make payment to any Treasurer of Guam location, and
o Provide two (2) copies of the e-filed returns.
As a reminder, Collections Branch at the Department of Revenue and Taxation will no longer accept payments on e-filed tax accounts.
Benefits of Electronic Filing:
o Performs automatic calculations of taxes owed based on data entered
o Maintains e-filing history so you can access your e-filed GRT returns at your convenience
o Prevents duplicate filing
o View and print copies of your e-filed returns
All taxpayers must electronically file their tax returns beginning with tax period February 2021 (due to be filed on or before March 20, 2021). An exemption application for this mandate will be made available soon at DRT’s Barrigada location. DRT will only grant exemptions due to extreme hardship.
