Guam – Dynamic Aviation has signed a three-year agreement for Dynamic Airways, its commercial-jet charter unit, to provide charter flights to Guam for Korean tour operator Hoda Air Services.
Hoda Air Services is a new subsidiary of SBH Corporation and is Dynamic Airways’ first Asia-based customer.
Under the terms of the contract, Dynamic Airways will provide Seoul-based Hoda Air Services with a McDonnell Douglas MD-88 supported by a full crew for passenger flights between Guam and Seoul beginning later this summer.
Charter airline Dynamic Airways, owned by special-mission operator Dynamic Aviation, beings operations in 2010 using this McDonnell Douglas MD-88, a former Midwest Airlines aircraft. The carrier, which is based at Smirth Reynolods Airport in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, expects to receive a second aircraft in December 2010
The Dynamic Airways aircraft initially will operate four round-trip flights per week on the route, with plans to increase the frequency of flights later in the year. The Dynamic Airways MD-88 will seat up to 155 passengers and is a member of the McDonnell Douglas MD-80 family of twin-engine, medium-range, single-aisle commercial jet airliners.
“We are extremely pleased to have the opportunity to support Hoda Air Services with quality jet charter services,” says Michael Stoltzfus, president and CEO of Dynamic Airways. “This contract represents a significant milestone for our organization, as it will support our opportunities to bring quality aviation solutions throughout Asia, including additional work with tour operators and General Sales Agents (GSAs).”
