ED Tech Sports Clinic Here For Schools


Guam- The ED Tech Group (from Maryland) in collaboration with Champions4Champions! will be conducting sports clinics on Monday, October 25th, from 9am to 12 noon at Astumbo Gymnasium in Dededo.  Students from the Northern schools have been invited to participate in this mentoring program.  On Tuesday, October 26th, from 9am to 12 noon, The ED TECH Group will conduct clinics at University of Guam Field house where students from various schools within the central villages of Guam have been invited; On Wednesday, October 27th, sports clinics will be conducted at Agat Gymnasium, from 9am to 12noon for schools in the Southern district. 

Dr. L’Tanya Simmons, CEO of The ED TECH Group, has provided educational accountability solutions and services in all 50 states since 1986.  “Our focus is on students, using the power of technology to enhance their performance.  We give teachers and students, as well as parents and administrators, the ability to assess each student’s achievements incrementally, so that the curriculum can evolve to become the essence of what is required for improvement.”

Dr. L’Tanya Simmons holds an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership, Ed.S. in Curriculum and Instructional Specialist Certification, M.Ed. in Educational Administration, M.Ed. in Educational Supervision, and B.A. in English.

Dr. L’Tanya Simmons will be joined by her technical assistant, Mr. Kevin Baird, as well as Mr. David Bascome, Baltimore Blast Soccer Professional Athlete, Mr. Don Elbaum, Boxing Promoter, and Mr. Chuck “Coach” Hatcher, a former NBA basketball coach and President of Champions4Champions.

Champions4Champions provides the one-on-one mentoring using sports celebrities to motivate children with an emphasis on the importance of education towards achieving their dreams.
