Guam – The status of the preparations for the November 2ed General Election tops the agenda for a Special Guam Election Commission [GEC] meeting this Wednesday.
With the 2010 General Election just a little over 5 weeks away, GEC Executive Director John Blas says in a release that the Guam Election Commission is keeping a close eye on the preparation processes as the November 2 date draws near.
In doing so, the GEC has scheduled a Special Meeting for 4 pm Wednesday, September 29.
During this special meeting, the GEC will be receiving status reports on all matters relative to the General Election. Items on the Agenda may include, but not be limited to the following:
1. Printing of General Election Ballots;
2. Status of the Uniform and Overseas Citizen Absentee Voting Act (UOCAVA) process;
3. Status of General Election Precinct Officials;
4. In-Office (Early) Voting.
