Esperansa Group Accuses Legislature of Stalling On Anti-Abortion Bill

Guam – The Esperansa Project called-out Guam lawmakers Thursday for stalling action on Bill 54, the Women’s Reproductive Health Information Act.

            

At a press conference Thursday afternoon, the Spokeswoman for the pro-life group, accused Senator Frank Aguon of doing everything he can to prevent passage of Bill 54.

The measure would require a women seeking an abortion to wait for 24-hours in order to “reflect”  on her decision before be allowed to have the abortion.

Senator Frank Aguon has told PNC News that the measure has been forwarded to the Attorney General for review because of questions about itsw constitutionality.
