NWS predicts only 10% chance of rain this week.
Guam – The National Weather Service predicts this week to be relatively dry.
In its 7-day Guam/Saipan Forecast Table, NWS predicts 10% chance of rain until Friday for both Guam and Saipan.
NWS explains, “Current forecast has only slight chance of showers in it and radar this morning verifies this as it shows hardly any showers. Models keep deep layer moisture to minimum so expect a slight chance of showers through Friday night,” in its area forecast discussion.
According to NWS moderate to occasional fresh northeast wind, which has been bringing dry subtropical air down into the Marianas, is expected to prevail across the Marianas.
