The Port Authority of Guam released a statement about the possibility of port police personnel being involved in illegal gambling

PAG General Manager Rory J. Respicio said he has just been made aware that several Port Police officers are allegedly involved in illegal gambling activity.

He said the matter is already the subject of an FBI investigation.

“We are conducting our own administrative review and because this involves a personnel matter we are unable to comment further at this time.”

Earlier, there have been reports of illegal gambling activity this time at the airport.

Senator Amanda L. Shelton, the legislative chair on air transportation, has promised to hold an oversight hearing on the airport employee gambling allegations.

“The legislative branch of government will conduct a thorough oversight review of reported illegal online gambling activity by employees at the Guam International Airport Authority,” she said.
